1.
A registered students is entitled
to appear in CPT after he has appeared
in the Higher Secondary Examination
( 10 + 2 examination ) conducted
by an examining body constituted
by law in India.

Theoretical
Education
The
Board of Studies will provide a Study
Package to the students registering
for the course. The Package will
contain books relating to each subject
covered in the Course. A student
can prepare on SELF STUDY BASIS.
He can get guidance from the Board
of Studies by making e-mail to guidance@icai.org.
Accredited
Institute conduct oral coaching classes.
If a student requires additional
help, he can join such accredited
Institutions.

Passing
criteria in CPT
A
Students has to minimum 50 % of total
marks for passing CPT. It is to be
mentioned that CPT is an objective
type test with a negative marking
which will be indicated in the question
paper. Students will be penalized
for selecting wrong answer.

Guideline
for Professional Competence
Course ( PCC )
A student who has passed
the CPT Examination and Higher
Secondary Examination.
1.
Simultaneously, the student will
also register for practical training.
2.
In addition, a student has to register
and undergo 100 Hours Information
Technology Training.
3.
Under the Transition scheme, an existing
student of Professional Education
(Course-II) who has passed Professional Education
(Course-I) examination / Foundation
examination may switch over to Professional
Competence Course (PCC) if he
desires. Such student will concurrently
register for articled training and
100 Hours Information Technology
Training.
3.
An existing student of Professional
Education (Course-II) who has passed
Professional Education (Course-I)
/ Foundation Examination
is entitled to switch over to Professional
competence Course(PCC). Such student
has to apply for conversion from
in the prescribed application form
along with filled-in form nos. 102 & 103
(Article Registration Form). For
this purpose such
a student may obtain a form nos.
102 & 103 of the Article Registration
form on payment of Rs. 50/- and Prospectus
for Professional Competence Course
on payment of Rs. 50/- ( Optional
).
3.A
student who has passed 10+2 and CPT
has to apply in form nos. 102 & 103
for registration of PCC, articled
training and Information
Technology Training. The student
may check the fees structure are

1.An
existing student if Professional Education
(Course-II), who opts for switching over
to PCC is exempt from payment of Registration
fee with the Board of Studies and tuition
fee of Rs.4000. He has to pay Rs.400 towards
cost of study materials and Rs.250 for
re-registration fee. He should indicate
in writing his option to switch over to
PCC
2.As
per the transition scheme, if a student
opts for switching over to PCC and
he has already paid registration
fee of Rs. 2000
for 250 Hours CCT Programme, he is
exempt from payment of Registration
fee for 100 Hours ITT on production
of fee receipt.
Students should attach a copy of
such fee receipt along with filled
Form Nos.102 & 103 (Article Registration Form).

Hours Information Technology Training
( I T T )
As
stated earlier, a student can join
PCC and articled / audit training
by registration with the Institute
and simultaneously he is granted
registration for ITT. Therefore,
a student is allowed to join only
on completion of THREE months of
articled / equivalent period of audit
training.
Eligibility
for appearing in PCE
After
completing not less than fifteen
months of practical training, three
months prior to the first day of
the month in which examination is
held, a student can apply for PCE.
He should also complete 100 Hours
Information Technology Training.
